At Kennedy Painting, we recently undertook a challenging interior painting project in the vibrant Hi-Pointe area of St. Louis. The project began with a significant hurdle, as our client had previously hired a painter whose work left much to be desired. The kitchen required extensive attention, not only for its aesthetic appeal but also due to the poor condition of the walls, which resembled peeling skin after a severe sunburn. The paint was quite literally peeling off of the walls. What a kitchen painting nightmare! In addition to rectifying the previous painter’s shortcomings, we performed drywall repairs in various corners of the kitchen.
This historic home had undergone a complete kitchen remodel before our arrival. The scope of our work included painting the ceiling, priming the walls, applying a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams Interior Duration Home in the color Gossamer Veil on the walls, smoothing out the edges, and meticulously painting baseboards and two doors using the Sherwin Williams color Pure White. We also managed to complete the project ahead of schedule, finishing it in mid-October despite the initial estimate for early November.
