Commercial Exterior Repaint: Essex Industries, St. Louis, Missouri
The building was thoroughly pressure washed to remove chalking, dirt, and mildew to ensure proper adhesion of primers and paint. We then spot-primed all exposed concrete with a masonry primer followed by an application of two coats of Sherwin-Williams Resilience in a custom color that we called, Essex Gray. Finally, we tackled the wrought iron. All of the wrought iron was prepared by scraping with a stiff bristle brush and applying Rust Arrestor primer to all rusted areas before applying PPG’s Durethane 2-part industrial epoxy.
