Kennedy In The Community

Twin Bridges Lightning Hockey Sponsorship

At Kennedy Painting, giving back to our community means supporting both local organizations and the passions of our team members. This September, we were proud to sponsor the Twin Bridges Lightning Hockey Club, a volunteer-run, not-for-profit youth hockey organization serving North St. Louis County, MO, and Madison County, IL. Our sponsorship helps cover expenses the young players face throughout their season, from equipment to travel costs, so they can focus on developing their skills and love for the game. We’re proud to support this long-standing organization and our team members who dedicate their time to making a difference both on and off the ice.

Jeff Burton 100 Inning Softball | Terry Harris Golf Tournament

In August, our team had the opportunity to participate in two incredible community events that were especially close to the hearts of our employees. Terry Harris Memorial Golf Tournament A few of our team members joined the 5th Terry Harris Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament to support a teammate and honor a loved one. It was a beautiful day on the course for a meaningful cause. 100 Innings for a Cure Softball Game Our Prime Time Painters played in the 2nd Annual 100 Innings for a Cure in memory of Jeff Burton. It was a great day of softball, community, and raising funds for cancer research.

KidSmart Push for Pencils Supply Drive

One of our favorite annual givebacks is the KidSmart Push for Pencils School Supplies Drive, helping provide essential classroom materials to local students and teachers in need.

Throughout the month of August, our Kennedy Painting team came together to fill donation bins with school supplies, everything from notebooks and pencils to backpacks and crayons, ensuring kids across St. Louis start the school year ready to learn.

We always make it fun by turning the drive into a friendly team competition to see who could collect the most supplies. In the end, Nick’s crew took the win with the highest number of donations collected! We’re proud to support KidSmart’s mission to equip classrooms, empower teachers, and inspire brighter futures for local students.

H. E. R. O. E. S Care Donation

In honor of Independence Day, Kennedy Painting proudly donated to H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, a local organization dedicated to providing support to military members and their families throughout every stage of service. Their mission focuses on addressing critical needs such as mental health, family reintegration, and crisis intervention, ensuring no military family feels alone. This month’s monetary donation will fund five free mental health sessions for local veterans who cannot afford this kind of care. We’re honored to stand beside H.E.R.O.E.S. Care in supporting those who continue to protect the freedoms we celebrate each July.

Earth Day
This year for Earth Day our team picked a newly planted tree at Tower Grove Park here in Saint Louis as a part of our way to give back to the environment. We chose a little cedar elm tree that has been planted within the last three years. The cedar elm serves dual purposes. It is a lovely tree that provides nice shade, but it is also very hardy in adverse conditions — tolerating both drought and wet soil.
