We take health matters very seriously!
Kennedy Painting continues to be committed to the health and happiness of our employees and homeowners, especially now as the Coronavirus moves into St. Louis area. We plan to stay up to date on all recommendations made by the CDC and adapt our work as needed to make sure all projects stay on track while protecting the well-being of our team and our clients. The Coronavirus will not prevent us from fulfilling our mission beautifying St Louis homes and workspaces. In an effort to protect everyone’s health, we are closely adhering to the following practices:
Limited Travel
Any Kennedy Painting team member that has traveled to a country listed as a “high-risk area” on the CDC website has been asked to quarantine themselves at home for a period of 14 days. We kindly ask the same from our clients. If you are a client and have traveled to any of these countries, please let us know so we can plan accordingly.
Smart Hygiene
Kennedy Painting is continually promoting healthy personal habits at work and at home to combat the spread of the virus. This includes proper handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes, safe personal distances, office sanitizing, and more. During appointments, please do not be offended if we do not shake your hand or touch doorknobs. We are still excited to see you!
Minimizing Exposure
Kennedy Painting employees are encouraged to stay home and/or work remotely if they are not feeling well (especially with a fever and/or respiratory illness), or if they believe they have been exposed to the Coronavirus. If you or a family member is symptomatic or has been recently exposed, please let us know right away so we can act accordingly.
Individualized Plan
Because every painting project and home situation is unique, we are happy to create a personalized plan to ensure a healthy and successful remodeling project outcome.
What are we doing to protect you?
- If any of our team can work from home, we’re requiring them to do so
- We’ve made all company meetings virtual to limit unnecessary gatherings
- Mandatory sick days (with paid time off) for any employees who are feeling the least bit under the weather
- Team members in the field are maintaining a 6-foot distance, just to be cautious
- Sorry, no handshakes or hugs (we get a lot of hugs from our clients!), just out of respect for YOU
- We’ve educated our team in best health practices, including frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer- all teams carry disinfecting wipes and sanitizer with them
- We daily wipe down our high traffic surfaces with disinfectant wipes at our HQ
- We’re staying educated and vigilant!
But the show goes on – buildings and homes still need protection. We intend to do our part to keep homes and people happy and healthy.
Stay Healthy,
Kennedy Painting
