Shadow Striping in Chesterfield

This shadow striping project in Chesterfield  took about a day and a half in total.

Shadow Striping Process

• First we applied a base-coat of paint in the entire room, then we began to add stripes on top of the base-coat. The 2nd color of stripes should be about 50% lighter than the base-coat.
• We used a laser level and frog tape to layout the stripes. And to activate the seam sealer we wet the frog tape.
• After we painted the stripes we removed all the tape before the paint was fully dry.

Products Used

• Base-coat: Sherwin Williams’s 7701 Cavern Clay
• Stripes: 50% 7701 Cavern Clay
• Tape: Frog tape
