Last year, the trending colors were subdued neutrals (gray was the big winner overall). They’re still a timeless choice, but we’d lie if we said we weren’t pretty happy to see some bolder options nudging their way to the front of the pack this year.

In all of their advertisements, Sherwin-Williams is drawing the parallels between this color and the warm earthiness of the midwestern desert. Some people are wild about it, while others think it feels a bit too Brady Bunch, 70s orange. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it seems that plenty are seeing the beauty in this one.
Benjamin Moore’s Metropolitan
