Cabinet Painting in Central West End, MO

Kennedy Painting recently completed a cabinet project in the Central West End. Breaking away from conventional grays and whites, our client chose the color Hyacinth Tint 6968 by Sherwin-Williams—a light purple that brought sophistication to the space.

This shift from neutral tones reflects a broader trend among homeowners seeking unconventional colors. The project showcases a desire for unique, expressive spaces, highlighting a growing trend in design preferences.

The painting process involved sanding, cleaning, and applying one coat of Bin Primer and two coats of Centurion Cabinet Finish in the chosen Hyacinth Tint. Cabinets with heavy wood grain received special attention, ensuring a seamless finish.

Beyond the cabinet transformation, we offered optional carpentry enhancements to elevate the space even more. A custom cabinet build and install added a touch of uniqueness—a box cabinet with a face frame as an open shelf above the refrigerator, seamlessly finished to match the existing cabinets.

This Central West End cabinet project is a great example of a homeowner’s embrace of a revolution in design and nailing right on the nose. The synergy between a bold color choice and execution resulted in a standout space that celebrates individuality and creativity. Whether it’s a daring color choice or bespoke enhancements, we’re ready to turn your vision into reality.
