We Can Do That.
Many times on painting projects, the ability to access certain areas of a home becomes the most daunting challenge. Whether it be two or three (or more) story ceilings in a home or business or accessing the dormers on a slate or tile roof, the ability to safely access these areas is absolutely crucial to completing the project correctly and allowing our painters to go home at the end of the day without injury. At Kennedy Painting we utilize several means to access tough to reach areas including boom lifts, scaffolding, and roof support to name a few.

On a recent project we completed, our abilities were put to the test to access a 35-foot peak on the rear side of a home. If this were on flat ground with concrete below, it would not be much of a problem. However, this particular project was for a home that backed up to a steep incline of woods with extremely rocky terrain. Not only that but we had to build this scaffolding between two decks which posed its own unique challenge. After meeting with our safety consultants, we were able to build a 30-foot scaffold to access the toughest areas of the home. By doing so, our painters were able to safely harness themselves to a secured structure while being able to closely work on the rear side of the home to properly prepare and finish it.
These access issues and the solution to them are often very costly but in comparison to an injured painter or an inferior paint job, they are well worth the cost. If you have an area on your home that other contractors don’t want to paint or can’t provide a safe solution to access it, give us a call to provide the solution.
