Today, to mix things up a bit, let’s take a tour of a commercial painting project we just finished for a local trucking company.

This warehouse is a hardworking space, and time, use, and the environment had certainly taken their toll on the surfaces. Our team was brought in to provide fresh paint for the walls, doors, door frames, and ceiling.
While our client’s convenience and satisfaction is a top priority regardless of a project’s nature, commercial painting does call for an extra measure of planning and coordination. After all, there are specific constraints based on hours of operation and how the space is used on a daily basis.
We worked closely with our client in order to be able to paint without interrupting their schedule at all. In fact, they were still open for business with employees on the premises while we worked.
Our Painting Process
Every proposal we provide includes a clear breakdown of the steps and stages you can expect during your project. In this case, our work involved:
- Total environmental prep and protection (every surface not being painted was thoroughly masked/covered)
- Surface cleaning and prep, ensuring the highest possible level of adhesion and long-term performance
- We painted the ceilings, walls, and doors with two coats of Sherwin-Williams’ Pro Industrial Urethane Alkyd Enamel (gloss)
- Walls and ceilings were painted white, and the lower border on the walls, doors, and frames were painted gray.
